Default New Bow Setup....Finally

Well after much deliberation and research (lurking here for a couple of weeks) I pulled the trigger on a new set-up. Picked it up this morning. In the shop I was nailing the little bullseye on paper so it seems as if the set-up is good, had trouble on the first two shots, left, shop guy made a slight adjustment and BAM, socked 'em right in there, shop guy looked as surprised as me. Going out this afternoon to get the rest of the pins sighted in at least up to 40 yds, well that is the goal, we'll see how it goes. Getting use to the peep is going to be interesting, a couple of times I forgot about the peep and looked straight through the sights, doh. I am pretty psyched. Spent about $270 more than I originally thought but I like the way it shoots. Will have to get some noise reduction items, but I broke the bank today and will be eating PBJs and pasta and rice all week.

PSE Beast 29" draw, peak draw weight 70#, set at 60#
TR Drop Zone camo rest
TR Matrix Guide 5 pin sights w\micro windage\elevation
Extreme Carbon arrows, total wt. is 421 grains
Tru-Fire Hurricane release
Loop and peep
holder\wrist sling (gripping the bow too hard right now)

$600 total and all bought at pro shop. I could have saved a lot of dough buying online, but this pro shop will take care of me, he was real good about setting me up, and I saw how he handled other customers.

this is a great site with good info. thanks. E
