IBO speed?
What does this term refer to? Certain arrow speed at a certain weight?

RE: IBO speed?
70# bow with a 30" draw shooting a 5 grain per pound of draw finished arrow weight, or in this instance 350 grains.
If you follow the 5 grain per # of draw but stay at 30" draw, you can approximate the expected speed at different draw weights...
Your bow is slow.

RE: IBO speed?
So basically the IBO standard is 5 grains per pound of draw weight?
IIRC, the IBO speed listed for my Nova was around 275 fps.
Which is plenty fast enough for me. Don't suck me into your speed freak ways.

RE: IBO speed?
Speed is a neccessary thing. I just don't place as much importance on it as some people do.

Yeah... But you're a freak.
At least I don't try to elicit the dolphin squeal from my wife. [8D]

True, but it's easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission...
