The speed of a bow is very curious thing. It is the main selling point today, and it did not start yesterday.
The Mongols, a small people, could shoot composite bows, from a running horseback, 360 degree, with bow weights to 140#, and with killing power to 400 yds.
The Mongol Empire, which covered about 2/3 of the earth"™s land surface, double the size of any other, did not appear, for much more of a reason, than a leisure pursuit: conceivably an Archery Hobby.
One thing they said that may help America today. When one of their military leaders was asked how they breached the Great Wall. He said we did not breach nothing, when people are corrupt, you pay to go in.
He thinks maybe you are knocking back a few too many brewskies while surfing the net, or possibly Jack Daniels, what ever your poison is. This post is a bit odd, and it's a double post. You posted the same thing in your thread about the letter from bowtech. I'm surprised it didn't get deleted.
I'm going to take a guess from some of your posts and your demeanor on this site that you most likely don't drink, or very little. I could be wrong, it's happened at least twice before that I can remember.
Trushot's just messing with you is all. He is a great guy with a good sense of humor. He can however be quite to the point at times.

I have not only used my posts, but other peoples post(I try to point out who"™s, when I remember- but I could not remember who"™s it was talking about the fall-away rest), to explain a condition or a frame of mind. And I did not know a post about Archery History when it contains Archery technology was odd: when that info can be found in many places on the internet. And some Archers may wish to use the first Mechanical Release put out by these people, which involved flipping the thumb like shooting marbles with a Horn made protection. With a large D-Loop that may be the most uncomplicated Mechanical Release today.

I know people may be getting bored of this speed topic & could become Infuriated.
So I just wanted to point out, a Large Archery Club, That Went Postal, and near wrecked, the Whole Planet Earth we live on.
Huh??

I doubt that the Mongols, or any archers of ancient times, thought about speed as it is thought of nowadays. The ancient shooters were probably most interested in power, weight, and cast.
I know that the movies like to jazz up things, such as hand grenades blowing up tanks, and mortar round bursting in huge rolling fireballs. In olden time, most archery warfare involved sending huge amounts of arrows, great distances in high trajectories.
Besides, back then those hand-generated chronos were not too accurate.
I suspect the circles you refer to are internal. Should you be able to explain the person in the mirror, maybe you could do the same for me. Bow speed is not such a curious thing. dwaasp is. Rather than make necessary the cleaning of the fronts of your shirts, why not say what you mean as we would on earth?
