I started out with an original trophy taker on my liberty. It has some noise issues, so I put on a Vital Bow Gear fall away, mainly because I like the arrow holder. I have been messing around trying to tune it. I had major fishtailing, so I tried paper tuning, and the tears indicated I needed to move the rest to the right. I finally got things where they should be (or so I thought), but the rest was way off center to the right, and I still got the occasional fishtail. I tried the powder trick, and even with the cock vane up, I get major contact with the rest when it was all the way down, mainly on the arrow holder. So, I took the arrow holder off, which basically put me back to the same function and capabilities as the trophy taker. I ended up putting the trophy taker back on, but I am looking for something that holds the arrow better. I am considering going to the wisker biskit, but am not sure which way to go. Who's got some good suggestions?
I had a TT-shakey hunter on my justice didnt like it at all. put a TKO and it works great.
I had to move the vertical arm to the other side of the horizontal arm to get center shot
but that only took a few seconds, great rest.
I realize I know less than pretty much everyone else on here - so take this with a grain of salt - but I really like the NAP QT4000. It's quiet and I like how it cradles the arrow nicely all the way from the down position to fully upright.
