Default Satellite CRF Platinum Carbon

Does anyone have any experience with these arrow shafts, also if JeffB reads this I would be interested to get your opinion on them. Do you think there will be more consistancy in spine as advertised where they are a seamless shaft. The Platinum series is advertised at .001 straightness and frequency matched. I cant seem to find a working website to get more info and am only going on a magazine ad. It seem Satellite is now owned by Escalade Sportsand
Thank you

Hey BD,

Saw the ad..definitely curious..they may be great, but Satellite has never been a brand known for "quality" archery products, neither is Escalade, so I'm skeptical.

CAE had seamless pultrudeds for years...VERY good spine and straightness consistency..better than AFC and Beman...but they were very brittle...I wonder if that would be the case with the Satellites too?

No Escalade dealers around anywhere near me and doesn't seem like the catalogs are carrying them (that alone makes me wonder, unless they are dealer only..as Escalade whores it's bow lines out to all the big catalogs)..if anyone picks some up, I'd be happy to measure them for spine, weight and straightness and then send them back. As a matter of fact Chuck (Rack-Attack) is sending me some Super Carbons for such testing next week

BTW..just read in BowHunt America where they ARE a filament wound design with no seam....which is similar to the old CAE skinny carbon Pro Selects and whatnot...

Don't know for a fact, but this would have me believe strength may be an issue.
