If you want to shorten your DL by up to 1/4" by manipulating the string/cable on a SC bow, you ______ to shorten the ________ until you reach the desired length then you _______ the ________ to re-time the cam.
Choices are string, cable, twist and un-twist.
Right?

Problem with that method is that when you adjust one thing (i.e. string or cable), manipulating the other the opposite way brings the cam back to the same place..not always exactly but you end up losing the amount of adjustment you wanted in the first place.

Or..you can get a BowTech cam or some other design that has half inch adjustment increments and a precisely adjustable draw stop and not have to worry about it

So, why does untwisting the cable shorten the draw length, oh ye master of all things trivial?
Because it BLANK the amount of string BLANK on the cam...BLANK it changes the orientation of the cam so it does not let out as much BLANK conversely the opposite is BLANK

So, does untwisting the cable by X directly correlate with a decrease in draw length of X, or is it Y?
If my freaking 28" module was actually 28", I'd be a much happier camper...
Wierd. It's 28.25" and feels just a tad long. However, the Outback I shot a Whileback was supposedly 28", and it felt dead on. Perhaps Mathews addressed their too long DL reputation?

Yes.

Not in my experience. The problem is that Mathews doesn't use an AMO/ATA measurement except for speed tests, they measure to the front of the riser, which usually leaves them about 1/2 to 5/8" long at AMO/ATA standards.
OK seriously about the cable..no...if you untwist the cable 1/4" short/long it will affect the string take-up/feed-out considerably more so than 1/4".
