Default QAD Ultrarest users....a ?

Is it necessary to rotate the thumbwheel and lock it down in holding position(hunting) OR can it be shot without locking it?

Whichever way you're little heart desires Coug

You can draw the bow from the down position and it will come up just like a TKO or TT or what have you.

Well I went a bought one after Jeff raved about them and guess what , its a great rest , easy to get complete fletch clearance with , easy setup . It can be shot either way , and with 5" feathers out of my mavrick , it wants to be shot in the down position with the cock feather up .

I like rotating it up just to get in the habit for hunting etc. When you shoot with it down you have the risk of the arrow falling off, but not when its up. Also it makes a click when draw if it is not locked up.
