Default Need GoldTip Advice...

I need to order some new arrows and want to stick with Gold Tips because I've had great luck with them so far. I was shooting XT 7595 at 31" and need to shorten by arrow length. I am going to go with a 29" shaft and was wondering if I could drop to the 5575 size? I'm not sure if my FOC will be too high with a 125 grain point. I used the calculator on the Goldtip site but don't know if it is better to be a little stiffer or weaker. BTW, I'm going to order from Mountain Archery and should specify fletching. Can I get away with a strong helical on this shaft? Thanks for any help, here's my set-up

Mathews LX 67lbs
29.5" draw
TT Shakey Hunter Drop Away
Copper Johns Dead Nuts Hunter
Sims Caliper Release (soon to be Short N Sweet)

At 29" you are on the edge IMO - If shooting fixed heads I would opt for the 7595's.

Thanks. I shoot 125 grain Thunderheadsd for deer and Snypers for Turkey so 7595 might be the way to go.

I would definitely order the 75/95s..the 55/75s will likely be too weak on a LX at your draw length and poundage w/ fixed heads...especially w/ a 125 grain head.
