Default Speed nocks

What do you use when installing speed nocks on a new string. I'm setting up a new string and the bow manual tells me where to put them, I was just wondering if there is a paticular nock most folks use or just get a pack of brass nocks and put heat shrink over them? Thanks

You really need a chronograph to use them effectively. Move them up and down a little bit at a time to find the optimal positon. I have heard if they are not postioned right, you may actually lose some speed.

Yes ! brass knock's and shrink tubing are the item's needed for this ,the manual tells you exactly where to put them on your new string .I'll be doing this as well in a few week's ,as for adjusting them I'm not aware of this but you'll be able to find this out when you put them on. Chrony it before you put the new string on and then again after ,if the speed isn't at least close then move them up an 1/8 and then again 1/8 lower than at first ,where ever you get the optimum speed then that's where you'll leave them.
