Default Truglo fiber: Is it better?

More and more I am starting to see different sight manufacturers (archery and gun) advertise that they use Truglo fiber. I was wondering, is the Truglo fiber really superior - is it brighter, more resistant to breakage, or what? Is there any fiber out there that is brighter than Truglo's? Or is it just marketing and is any fluorescent fiber that you get pretty much the same, no matter who makes it?

No one has ever done any fiber comparisons to see which is brightest??? (I'm not talking sight or pin comparision, I'm more interested in X inches of Y fiber vs. X inches of Z fiber.)

Sorry Olink, not I. I would not know where to buy all of the different replacement fibers from? Do places like Cabelas carry a stock of replacement fibers from the various fiber optic manufacturers or would you have to go to the manufacturers themselves to secure the material?

Then would you make a subjective test by just using the opinions of several different individuals or would you actually have some device to measure brightness levels of the light being passed through the material?

I know...I know...too many questions and no answers.
