Default Question about a new string

My bow is curently in the shop getting the string replaced. I am replacing the old factory string with a zebra string and cable. I guess what I would really like to know is if zebra strings are like the others as to streching after you get it dialed in and then having to go back and reset everything again?

It's really hit or miss in my experience. I've had some Zebras in recent years that were very, very good strings and hardly budged, and I have also had a few in recent years that creeped an insane amount and had terrible serving wear/peep twist issues.

Zebra is a decent string. But, I would personally get about 200 shots through the bow before trying to tune. Let the proshop set up arrow rest at center shot. You may want to inquire if your shop makes their own strings as well. Depending on who is making them, they are usually worth the extra $$$.

I have had some friends that have had great experiences with Zebra Strings.... but I personally have had bad experiences with them.
I have switched to Stone Mountain Dakota Pre Streched Strings and am very happy I made the switch... they are more than worth the extra $ in my opinion, I use them for 3D Comp and Bowhunting.
Check them out at
www.stonemountainbowstrings.com
They will cutom make your string to your specs and personal preferences.
They have many Pro Archers and Ametuer Archers using and endorsing their strings because they believe in the fine product.[8D]
