How short to cut my arrows

I have moved my dl down a 1/2 inch. My dl is now 26" It fits perfectly. My question is: How short should I cut my arrows? I want them to be 1" over my rest. That will mean my arrows will be as long as my dl. The problem is I might go up to a 27" dl since I'm growing. Should I just cut them at 27"? If I shoot them with my 26" dl then they will be 2" over. Will this effect the flight? Thanks

The extra length should not hurt you to much. If you are still growing I would leave them a little long. They will last you longer.
