IMO it is worth it to make your own.

because you control the quality of the end product.

I have the Arizona easy Fletcher the one for Aluminium arrows with a 6 degree right helical.

I have found that Beyond Bond is one of the better glues.

As to vanes I use Dura vanes.

If you want to go the whole hog so to speak then get yourself an arrow cut off saw as well.

I always spin test my shafts before cutting and I always cut atleast an inch off the nock end then install the nock and cut to lenght.
