Default nock

does the arrow when place on rest ned to be level with nock or should it be 1/8 to 1/4 in above level, thanks

It depends on what kind of cams you have
most 2 cam bows will have a level nocking point
most single cam bows will have a higher nocking point
start off level with the arrow to the center of the berger hole, square to the string and paper tune if you are getting massive fletch contact to the rest and a lolow nock tear you need to bring the nocking point up, do not move the rest.

I'm almost positive eastons tuning guide recommends starting 1/8" above center. Check out the tuning guide here:
