Whats your shooting schedule?

I got my bow shooting pretty well a while ago but lately, I noticed my groups going to hell in a hand basket. Only thing I can figure is I'm over doing it. For the past month and half, I've been shooting almost daily. Never kept track of the numbers but I would venture to guess about 30-50 arrows a day. Am I shooting too much? I took a few days off this week and shot tonight and I shot better.

What is everyone elses shooting schedule?

I shoot at least 25 to 59 arrows daily

It all depends if I go out and hit the spot first arrow I put it up if not I try and work out what "I" am doing wrong and work on it.

I am currently shooting 3 days a week. I find that barely adequate for me to keep my form down to the level where I can get the groups and overall accuracy that I desire. I really should shoo more but just cannot seem to find the time.

In your case a short break from shooting may be in order. There definitely is something to "over-doing" it.

I shoot 3 or 4 times a week. Usually anywhere from 15 to 30 arrows. I will on occasion (usually on weekends) shoot 50 or 60 arrows. I have a tough time finding that much time that i can devote to shooting. I also shoot in fadeing light a lot and sometimes I run out of light before I'm ready to quit shooting. I guess that is the price I pay for shooting in low light conditions.

Typically 3-4 days a week and between 12-21 shots (shoot 3 and retreive).

Occasionally on the alternate days I will go out and shoot 1 arrow. When it's crunch time, it's that 1st arrow that counts.

Muzzyman, Bulldog1 here, I shoot upwards of 40-50 arrows a day. Sometimes I'll get in a rut of shooting just to shoot. When I do that, my groups end-up like you say. When I consentrate, and work my form, everything comes in the way I want. Bulldog1
