Default Bear Vapor 300/Golden Eagle????

An archery shop/gas station is going out of business in my area. He has 2 lefties, a Bear Vapor 300 and a Golden Eagle. The GE doesnt have a name on it, however it has recurve limbs, extreme reflex riser and cams with the exact timing. I think its an evolution? Anyway, just looking for some info on these bows, particular shooting characteristics and so on.
Thanks,
Edge

I shoot the Vapor 300 and so far I am quite pleased with it. I am a beginner so any advice Igive is pretty one sided. I havent shot alot of bows to compare it too. But I can say it groups well and is easy to carry.

I will ditto coolerpup's comments regarding the Vapor 300. It is one of those bows that has some very attractive specs on paper. If I remember correctly it is in the 34-36 inch axle to axle length range with around a 3 lb 10 ounce mass weight and a 7 inch brace height. The advertised IBO speed is around 300 fps also.

I have set up several of these for some folks and haven't heard one complaint about them.

Seems like a very nice "no frills" bow. I wouldn't mind owning one myself.

I have a Vapor 300 and for the price it's a very good bow. The shop I got mine from recommended it over the Golden Eagle, which they had also.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm going to wait him out for a while, the vapor is at 20% off right now. Not a bad deal, but I'm a cheap skate! If I get it, I'll shoot 3-d over the summer and then maybe sell it come fall. Unless I really like it of course!
