Hi Gang, I bought a new PSE Quantum that I'm just now getting around to setting up. The problem is that there is a small "click" at the end of the draw cycle just as the cam is dropping quickly into the valley (80%). [&o] I need to put it in a bow-vice and check the screws on the module (27 and 1/2 inch length), but any other options? While the cam is extremely close (not more than 1/64th I bet) to the limb as it comes around, it doesn't seem to touch. Thanks- I think I'll really like this bow, but can't have that little noise going on! Also, I was told that a little "creaking" in a new bow is normal, and that it will work out with a little break-in time. Mine does it (seems to be the limbs?) just when it's cold and hadn't been pulled back for a while. What do you think of this?
Thanks for the advice!
Textrout
The Quantum was discontinued in the fall of 2002, so if you bought a brand new one, chances are it's been sitting around for awhile. You should have the bow taken apart and have the bow lubed/cleaned up, as chances are some things have dried up over that period of time, and are most likely causing the noise.
