I'm thinking about getting quick spin vanes. I was wondering if anyone knows how they fare with a WB. Or should consider a new rest if I do go with the new vanes?
From what I saw of them at the ATA show, I doubt they'd fare well on the bristles of the original WB rest. They are similar to AAE or Duravanes materials-wise and those get pretty chewed up on WBs.
The B2 biscuit should be better, but considering the astronomical cost of the quikspins, I'd be loathe to try and find out Let someone else try first .

Got my quick spins the other day, fletched 6 Vapor CAA 3490s with them and shot them. I was not overly impressed but I did notice a flatter trajectory. It appeared that my arrows slowed a bit but that may be an illusion as my pins at 20,30 and 40 yards were still correct. I did manage to RH my hunting buddys' carbon - that was enjoyable. I don't shoot groups as that can be expensive however shooting at a 5 spot target I shot 4 out of 5 X's with 6 shots. Something good is happenning. I am going to chrono them next monday I will let you know.
I notice no noise difference. Easton Axis and Quickspins are here to stay for me.
