Default D Loops

How many of you use a brass nock along with your D-Loop? I have been trying to just use the D-Loop and can't seem to set it up right for proper nock height. As it tightens it moves upward a little making my shots bit nock high when paper tuning. How much fps will I loose adding a nock to my string along with the D-Loop. Any suggestions on how to tie the D-Loop to the correct nock height to where it will stay??

Sounds like your loop is not tied right, If tied correctly then it should not move.

That said instead of a brass nock if you want put in a tied in nock above and below your arrow to stop the pinch.

Yep, and I just removed the brass nock from my string and tied one on. One brass nock-set was 4fps. From 282fps down to 278fps----consistently.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

In this case what are movies worth?

try THIS link and check out the videos at the bottom

Also note that if you have a poorly done center serving (not tight enough), even if the loop is tied properly it will "walk up" the string.

You should try the knot-less super loop. They are a bit of a bitch to put on,but once you have them set up right,,GREAT LOOP !!!!
