Default newbie broadhead help

hey guys new here and had a few questions about hunting heads....i know that fixed blades are better then mechanical but... how do you tun the setup to get the fixed to fly like target points? I am kinda new to all of this i used to hunt with a bow a few years ago but stopped because i didnt have a spot to hunt anymore and now i just bought 80 acres and im getting ready to rock and roll again. I figured i need to get everything setup as soon as possible so i can get back in practice before the season open in oct. i just bought a PSE Firestorm Lite 29 inch draw, 60 lbs. decided on and bought carbon express terminator hunter 4560 arrows and am practicing with 100 grain feild points. any suggestions/info on broadheads and or other producks i may need would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

Vince

Try moving your arrow rest in very minute movements to follow the direction of the shafts. By fine tunning the rest you can generally get excellent groupings and flight. BUT before messin' with your set-up, I would tune it to your favorite hunting shafts and then buy some Rockets as mentioned above. They fly like field points and will shoot perfect with any tuned set-up. IMO, the best b-head you'll find.

Try going to www.eastonarchery.com Download their Tuning and Maintenance Guide. It'll walk you through bow tuning in detail.

I assume you're shooting with a release. If so, don't hesitate to shoot a staff stiffer than the charts indicate. After years of frustration, I did so and now those fixed heads fly great.

Go to my website www.broadheadtests.com read through the home page as well as the other pages. It will help you understand a little better about broadheads, how to pick the right one and how to tune you bow to shoot them well. If you have any other questions afterwards drop me an email and I will be glad to help out any way I can.
