Default How much will I gain

OK, I currently shoot a Hoyt ultra mag, 70#, and 30" draw. I recently changed the draw length to 30 1/2", and wonder how much speed I gained in doing this?

In most cases about 5 fps but that depends on how efficient the cam is at any given draw length. If memory serves me the Cam and a Half is most efficient in the middle of the draw length range so moving to the extreme upper end should probably net you about 3 fps by my estimate.

Did you go longer looking for speed or a better fit?

better fit. I was having to tilt my head forward a bit to secure my anchor point. This is MUCH more comfortable now.
