Default bow seems in tune BUT!!

it goes against what I was told! I set the cam in time cable & string took awhile turn here twist their then I checked the tiller off by A hole turn! can this be right?
I was told to turn both equal but to get them straight I had to turn one making it uneven.
I am shooting bullet holes but my knocking point is dead even with the rest .if I raise it bad paper tear all would be good but with the even arrow im pulling the arrow off the rest.. HELP

Are some of these newer bows as perpelexing to tune as it sounds by this message.....or is it a phraseology problem?

PA,if you are shooting a 1 cam you do not check tiller by measuring to the bow string. You measure tiller by running a string from 1 axle to the other axle and then measure to that string, not the bow string.

If you're shooting a loop (which I assume you are) the loop to tight on the nock may be causing you to lift the arrow off the rest.

Definitely do not measure it to the string on a conventional single cam bow. It will give you a false reading and hours of worthless tinkering...if there is such a thing...

I say forget about that paper tune and start bare shaft tuning and group tuning with broadheads. Chances are, you'll find that you need to adjust the nock point anyway.

ya I'm back to normal now after A lot of worthless tinkering!
Shoots the same as it did before I tuned the cam. I paper shoot with bare shaft to check the knocking point all good!
Does anyone file the knock out to make it not so tight on the serving ? I honesly think thats why my arrow was lifting from the rest I have'nt messed with it tonight I did loosen up the loop.
OR another question! I seen A picture with knocks inside the loop anyone do this? I did it to mine I like it seems to look like a flatter surface for the arrow.

DON'T file nocks grooves. Reserve with a thinner serving.

I, and several other forum members, tie-in two nocksets above and below the arrow nock but "inside" the string loop knots if that is what you are referring to.
