Default String loop ?

I have a string loop put on last week and in the past they have never put a nock on my string to hold it in place and I have not had a problem with them sliding without one but, this time they put a nock on what can I do to make the loop not slide without the nock on there? I would put them on my self but I have never had any luck tieing them.

Default RE: String loop ?

We use some dental floss like material that some may call a "nockset" tie it above and below your nocking point. This keeps the D-Loop from moving, but to tell you the truth, it is really insurance. If tied correctly, the loop shouldn't move that much unless you twist it.

I just use some black string that you use to serve peep sights in with. I just attach it right above the top knot. never had any problems yet.
