Default Question on draw lenght

If you are trying to achieve a 29.5" draw lenght with a 29" module on a 2003 Bowtech dual cam by either adding twist to the cables or untwisting the string or a combo of both will you still get the full added performance of the additional 1/2 inch even though your cam would be rotated past its factory position, also will this effect brace height if the combo of both twisting cables and untwisting string are used ?[]
Thanks
BD

Default RE: Question on draw lenght

If you un-twist the string enough to get another 1/2 inch draw, you will also increase the bow's peak draw weight and probably increase the vibration and noise of the bow due to the cams being over rotated. If you simply put on the longer mods you will increase the force draw curve without increasing the bows peak draw weight and keep the cam rotation in the optimum setting. The longer mods have a larger "hump" that will store more energy by increasing the limb tip movement. JMO

Default RE: Question on draw lenght

I tried to tweak a 1/2" out of my 2002 mighty-mite by untwisting and twisting, didn't get too much out of it. MAYBE 1/4", but then again I could have done it wrong. I wound up removing bothe string and cable and returning them to factory specs.

If you can get a 1/2" modules for the 2003, that would be the way to go.
