Default Ultra Nock

Bought a Ultra Nock XL recently to try and keep my peep lined up. It works BUT...now it feels like I'm pulling a 10lb. trigger on my release. Its a True-fire release. Any suggestions besides going back to the Old-faithful string loop.

Ha, I would go back to the string loop. Doesnt your old string loop line up your peep? Mine does.

I used the Ultra nock for about 2 months. I dont like them at all. Too heavy on the string and messes up your calipers.
Mine now has a nice home in my tackle box.

Loop or not, I would get a T.R.U speed nock. It weighs in less than a brass nock and will get your peep straight.

I have used ultra nocks in the past, but had nothing but trouble with them. I went back to the self aligning peep.

I have seen 3 of the Ultra noks after they broke and made an ugly mess when the guys were at full draw. I have also seen strings break right where the UltraNok hooks on but I have seen the string break where the brass nock set it clamped if it is clamped too tight. Go with the String Loop. A man in Kansas had his eye hit with a UltraNok, luckily he is not blind but did injure his eye. String Loops might break but they won't blind you.
