Hoyt Vortec for $1000.00?!!

I was just pinkering around at a sight called Half.com,which is part of Ebay. There is someone on there asking a grand for a 2002 Hoyt Vortec in competition colors! What in the world are people thinking.

The bad thing about that 1000 dollar bow is that its not even a 2002. Hoyt Vortec isn't available with the xt2000 limbs in 2002. I guess someone is looking for a sucker.

Wow, I wasnt aware that it wasnt. Sheesh, if this guy gets a grand for that, I guess my Reflex should be worth....oh say.......700 at least!

Yep, that is exactly the kind of false information that I was referring to. The one that really "tipped the boat" for me was a a 2002 Hoyt Hypertec with Redline cam that had a "dual track idler wheel"..blah...blah..blah... The Redline cam is the only single cam Hoyt makes that isn't offered with the dual track idler wheel....and it is evident by the picture the guy posted below the description.

Arrrrggghhh, I really wish Ebay would have not blocked the email addresses for bidders. At least then they could be warned.

I can't believe the new in box products on ebay that are full price that you would pay locally. For instance, I have seen the Zero Effect rest for the same price as I can get it locally and if I were to buy it on ebay, I would still have to pay shipping!
