Default New bow setup process

I was just wondering what process you guys use when you get a new bow. Do you tune it bare and then put your accesories on it? Do you get it completely set up and then tune it? Do you just shoot it to get the string stretch out of the way and then tune it? I personally accessorize the bow the way I want it then I tune it. I sight it in and then note the changes in my sights while the string stretches out. Once the stretch has stopped I tune it again to get the final adjustments down. Then I fine tune my sights.

Default RE: New bow setup process

What you're doing is fine. I start with everything on the bow I am going to use. Everything has an effect one way or another. Its good to find out from the get go. I set mine up as usual (paper tune, groups,etc.). Then, once the string stretches and settles, make minor adjustments to get it all back in tune later.
