Well that depends on you more then the bow. You can go to a bunch of sites and figuere out what your bows KE would be at different distances. You'de need to know your arrow weight in grains and the FPS of your bow.
Why do you want to know haw far away you can kill something. Bowhunting is about how close you can get to the game you hunt.

But here is my view anyway. Your question is a question that should for the most part never come up. The effective range of a bow is limited much more by accuracy and a shooter ability than it is by killing power. The killing range of most bows far exceeds the distance a bow hunter can effectively, and consistantly hit where he is aiming.
The "killing range" of a bow is an envelope that IMO should never be approached!!!
Keep them close and hit them where you should

I pretty much agree with Rack-Attack.. practice, practice, practice @ the range you can accurately hit! I can accurately tag the sweet spot out to 40 yards, but I only do 50% hits at 50-60 yds, so I limit myself now to roughly 35 yds for the play room. Ever have to track a wounded deer through a swamp, at dusk? Not fun! I'd rather let 'em walk away than merely take a bad chance.

I agree with Rack. Your bow might be capable of killing a deer at over 100 yards, but very few archers are capable of making that shot and I doubt that any would attempt it.
How far YOU can shoot accurately at a deer is impossible for US to tell--especially based on the info you provide.
I can hit a pie plate most of the time out to 60 yards, but I won't attempt a shot at a deer at anything over 40 yards--and at that range, everything must be perfect for me to take the shot.
As a start, find out what range you can keep all your broadhead tipped arrows in a 6" circle EVERY TIME. Then knock 10-15 yards off that for hunting situations.

35 yards, 40 yards....hmmmmm....
I can shoot at pie plate to at 60 yards and hit it time and time again.
But pie plates wont move and a pie plate is no living creature.
I hunt even closer than 35 yards.
I max my distance at 25 yards but at those distances i must have a very sure hit.
My effective range is more like 15 to 20 yards, and yes, i am a succesfull hunter
i agree with you rack, distance shooting , i don't think is good in a hunting sitution, mainly because if i shoot something i want to make sure i get a good hit, that will hopefully kill it soon, instead of just wounding it
i can shot pretty good out to 50 yards at a target , but i don't consider taking a hunting shot over 30, but so far i have been lucky, most of my shots have been under 20 yards.
It's good to ask such questions, so you can guage what good shooters do against what you're thinking of doing. The distance is up to you, but like others said, has nothing to do with your bow. At what range do you feel confident that you'll hit what your aiming at and without much risk of just wounding the animal. With longer distances, many other factors come into play like wind, animal movement, unseen twigs, etc. At every distance, there are factors like animal alertness, angle, lighting, fatigue and your nerves. For me, my maximum range varies with every situation. I've taken a couple shots in the 20-25 yard range, but most are in the 8-15 yard range. I'm a fairly good shot and usually score in the top couple spots in my archery leagues. However, when it comes to effectively killing an animal, I find that most opportunities are relatively close.
Shoot how ever far you feel comfortable with. A deer never goes to waste. Foxes, racoons, buzzards and other scavengers rely on us hunters to feed them too. That dosn't mean to take a bad shot. It just means what it says, the little guys need to eat.
In reply to all of the negative post to this, the deer population is way out of control. Disease is next. The herds need to be thinned out or you will be shooting them and dumping them into a dumpster. Anyone here hunt in Wisconson? Chronic wasting disease is alive and well in some areas where this is now the norm. It is preferred to do it with the bow rather then the bumper of a car.
