Do you have the equipment to do this? Do you already have the old string off? If it is just the string as you have mentioned and not the buss cable, it really should not be very difficult even if the string is off. There is only one way for the string to go on. Cam position may come into play though is you have not marked the cam position.
If the string is not off already, either make yourself notes, or use a camera and take some picutes. I would note where the cam is flipping right now (I usually draw a line on the cam using the limbs as a templete). Make sure the cam flips at the some point with the new string.
If you are new at this, I would really consider taking it to a pro shop and ask them to show you how to do it. It may cost a few extra bucks though.
