anyone know any one shooting this bow. wondering if this bow is very loud. or how it handles. they say it has shorter limb pockets an just a little more brace hieght.
I test shot one Thursday but didn't notice any loud noise, Why would you expect it? The 60lb model that I tested shot over 300fps and was a great bow for the price.

Sounds like horsesh!t to me. I haven't heard a loud bow in years. 99% of modern bows are relatively quite.

hey thanks. never said it was loud double just wanted to compair the noise level to some others out thier and see if anyone shot this bow. thinking of getting it, thats all. cant get my hands on it where i live. tech dealer quite a ways away. thanks
Which version of the Pro38 was it? Bowtech has not produced the Pro 38 model since last year so keep that in mind. I had a 2001 Pro38 single cam and did not find it loud compared to other bows with similar specs and similar setups. It's longer riser and heavier mass weight should take alot of noise and vibration out of any given setup.
That should actually be a very quiet bow. The only question for me would be the short limb pockets. I had a 2001 Pro 38 Dual Cam, and it was very quiet once I had it completly set up, much as you see the package with limb savers and leeches. I had small puffs of catwhiskers on the cables instead of leeches. I when I shot that bow in the woods, I could hardly hear the shot at all.
