I have a chance to buy a 2001 Hoyt Magnatec at a great price. Having been out of bowhunting for several years, I'm a little behind the learning curve. I don't quite understand the cam system-single cam, double cam and cam and a half. Can anyone help?
I have a magnatech and it's a good bow. It's hoyts basic bow. It's definately accurate and fast enough to hunt with. I can't explain the cam and a half technology to you, but I will say that it's given me no problem and performed well with no problems.Also, Hoyt no longer makes the magnatech, it's been replaced with another model but I can't remember it's predecessor's name right now.
