Default Weird Noise/Vibration on Liberty

I am getting a noise that sounds like a rubber band being plucked when I shoot my liberty. I have an original trophy taker on it. At first I thought it was the rest or the sight might be loose, but I checked both and they are tight. Any thoughts?

Check the two screws to your module. Make sure they are tight and use thread-lock if you have to.

....and last but not least check the cam timing. If the cam is not timed correctly then there will be an increase in noise and vibration.

Mich--are you using a self-aligning peep, or are you using the peep with the rubber tubing?
Sometimes the tubing can give you that plucking sound of a runner band.

My Trophy Taker was falling against the shelf on the riser and making noise, I have it reduced some but not satisfied yet.

Did you determine the source of the noise yet?

All screws are tight... I have the factory hush kit on it also. The peep has no tube/cord attached. I had a buddy stand off the side and he thought it sound like it was coming from the rest area. I haven't had much time to shoot, as the weather has been awful the last couple of days. I think I will head back to the shop and have them listen to it while I shoot.

Thanks for the thoughts.
