Default MZE On 04 Patriot DC???????

I just ordered a 04 DC Patriot and I told the guys at my pro shop that I wanted a Muzzy Zero Effect for a rest they were very much against it. They tried to sell me on a QUD Ultra-Rest. I have never heard anything about this rest so I told them that I would stick with the MZE but they still tried to come up with things to convince me other wise (Hard to install,it would hit my hand,it dosen't paper tune well). Now I have a MZE on my old bow(installed it myself) and it has worked flawlessly for me.

Now for my question. Will a MZE be a good rest on a Patriot Duel Cam?
Any other ideas would be greatly appritiated.

Thanks to all.........

Yes it is I have one on my 03 Pat DC and my 04 BK2.
If you installed the last one your self install the new one yourself there is no tricks to install it on the Patriot DC

I don't think Muzzy makes a MZE that fits the new 04 Bowtechs. It fits some, but the new ones with the wide shelf in the riser like the Liberty, Patriot and several others, I don't think there is an MZE that fits those yet. I think Muzzy is working on that.

I have a muzzy on my Liberty. Very easy to paper tune. Also on my lx. On the liberty the cables have to cross above the slide to get enough movement because of the parallel limbs.

I have one on an 03 Pat DC. If the 04's are even close to the 03's, it will be a breeze to do yourself. Find a new shop.

This just goes to show that every shop has their favourites and obviuosly they prefer the other rest, which I've never even heard of . Every shop is like this, don't pay any attention to this your putting out the money so tell them to just do it . I have this problem here, I just find the part's I need and buy them elsewhere and then when I show up with new gear on my bow I tell them all about it and where I bought it ,guess what ? they find what I want now .

Thanks again all!!!! This has re-affermed my thoughs not only on my chioce of rests but the pro shop as well. Although I do like the guys there they have always said little things that made me question them. Like they tried to sell me on a mechanical broad head called the bloodtrailer(I think that was is name) my first visit there and just the other day while talking me out of the MZE they were telling me it was almost impossible to tune fixed broadheads(not mechanicals) if the bow speed was over 270fps......
Its to bad because they are close to home, guess I'll have to drive an hour..........

I think fixed blade broadheads over 270 is a myth. My Magnus Stingers fly like darts at 288. A good arrow, broadhead combination, out of a well tuned bow will fly fine.
