Default Patriot VFT on order- It's sweeeet!

After trying the sit down and draw test I realized I was OVERBOWED. So the search began for a smooth drawing 60# rig that would provide enough oomp to getter done.
After drawing back almost all of the bows inside the Archery shop I decided on 2 to test shoot.
Yes only two, but the draw cycle was what I was most concerned with.
The 2004 Patriot VFT sold itself!!
The draw was so smooth I could care very little of what happened after the shot. What happened was a hole lot of nuttin. The bow just sat there.

I had them order me a "heavy 60" and requested a 63-64# top out. With an IBO of 324-328 60-63# pull at 29" draw pushing 400 grains should be plenty.

You guys were right about how smooth the 2004's are, I think I'm in LUST!!

Davec, congrats on the new bow. Will it be here by 03-13-04 and will you be bringing it to Bownanza? I was thinking of getting a new bow this year as well and that one was on my list as well. Good shooting and hope to see you in 2 weeks.

Congrats on your new bow. You won't be disappointed in any way with it. After set up and sighting, remember to shoot different spots, not groups. Unless you have arrows to spare that is.

Thanks guys, I don't think I got much sleep last night. It like getting a wink from a pretty girl back in high school.

Wolf6151, I'm not gonna make it to Bownanza this year. I'm coordinating a month long shutdown at work that starts on 3-13-04. I wanted to go, but gotta make money to have play money!
If your thinking of a new bow don't buy until you try. what's weird is I picked it out of the bowtech line up as the bow to try from them, but went to the shop primarily to shoot some 2003 marked down leftovers. The single patriot wasn't even on my mind when I went up there.
IT SURE IS NOW!
