For the past two years I've used CXL'sAnd yes good results.BUT there pricey,There rae other shafts out there, with the 3-d season approaching what would be a good reasonable shaft to go with.I'm shooting LX,60# 28"draw{I can increase the draw weight}.I guess that what ever you get it only takes one hit from another shaft and you need a new one anyway.Any info would help.
I have always used Beman ICS 400's with good success. Many also like the gold tips. But for hunting, I will be swtiching to the new Easton Axis St 340's this year. From all of the reviews, they sound darn near undestructible. I can't wait to try em out! Here's the link if you want more info on them.
According to my shaft selector program a good aluminum shaft would be a 2413. Which would give you the larger diameter shaft. It would be a little larger than the cxl's
