Default lighter B/H for heavier Arrow

This fall I have a 1/2 dz of Carbon Express terminator 6075's just laying around that I would like to use for hunting moose .I will be shooting them through my BowTech Patriot Dually 60# at 28" draw and a 28" arrow. I normally use a 100gr B/H for my arrow's but since my arrow is sooo heavy what if I went to a 65gr or 75gr Broadhead ,how would this effect my set-up for hunting moose would I loose KE at the end or would this just throw everything off Would this throw my F.O.C. out.
I need help with this one I don't have to use these arrow's but since i have them I just thought in order to lighten them up a bit I'd go to a lighter broadhead .

With 4 inch vanes @ 28 inches it puts you at 418 grains and 6.2 FOC with a 75 grain tip.

With 4 inch feathers @ 28 inches it puts you at 401 grains and 8.3 FOC with that 75 grain tip.

4 inch vains @ 28 inches with a 100 grain tip is 443 grains 8.5 FOC.
4 Inch feathers @ 28 inches and a 100 grain tip is 426 grains and 10.5 FOC.

Looks like you would be to light up front with those arrows if you went less than 100 grains up front.

For moose, I would want to go the other way, probably 125's or bigger. I don't think what you are currently shooting is that heavy. Get some good cut on contacts and skewer away. I really like the Magnus Stingers. I have the 2 blade 125's now, and they flew great. Gonna get the 4 blade 125's for next season. Great broadheads, lifetime guarantee.

I agree. Going real light on FOC might work fine when you're standing flat footed, using your very best shooting form in front of a target, but you've got an unstable arrow. It will make you pay dearly if you get excited, standing face-to-ribcage with a big bull moose, and let your form get the least bit hinky.

Buckeye I shot terminator 6075's last year at 28"s andwith feathers and a 100 grain head , my arrows weighed 480 grains . Go for magnus 100 grain heads and you should be fine .

Thank's guy's glad I posted this ,I was going to just buy lighter head's .I'm going to stick with 100's and I'll consider the Magnus Stinger's 100's and the G5 by Montec will be my choices.

J---I've taken those big boys down at 40 plus yards with a 55# 28" 100 G 'steelhead' (400G Gold tips 55-75) 4" vanes.
Get sighted in with the 100's and you'll be just fine---providing you're in the KILL zone.

Haven't rested the eyes or the legs as yet John--will be doing that shortly, tomorrow it another early start then it's the packing up and taking back to the shop after the show is over---ugh!
Not to worry about the speed John @ 70 #'s you'll have lots to spare, shot placement, then it's time to fill the freezer---providing the 'group' isn't as big as mine, and I know you already have a full hand! Ha!
