Default Digital Cam guys

Just curious as to why no one has given a review on the stealth digital camera yet. Are there any other digital cameras worth looking into? thanks.

I would love to but, for me, it would just be a waste of money. I have had one inexpensive Stealth get stolen. At $70 I was a bit mad but if I were to have a $300 or $400 unit stolen then I would be looking for........
Well, you get my drift.

Maybe one of those private land guys would be willing to make the investment. Jason?

I have the digital Cudde Back. I love it. It is extremely easy to use. The pics in the day pretty much suck, the pics at night are great. But not having to deal with film and being able to check my pics in the field far out way the picture quality, IMO.

They just are not very crisp. Give me your email address, and I'll send you an example.

let me ask you this - how much money do you spend on developing pictures and how many in a roll are worth keeping??

I ask because this is my reasoning for going with a digital. Rolls of film cost say $2.50 and I would assume that each roll cost $6-8 to develope and maybe half of the pics are worthwhile (my guess is more like 25% or less?). Then you use/develope say 10 rolls a year. Therefore your $230 savings is made up in about 2 years. (more like under one year if my assumption about # of good pics is correct) Plus you can share the pics easily on the net (no scanning, etc.). Want to know if my logic is correct.

Granted having it stolen would suck, but hopefully I can put it were there isn't much threat and can keep an eye on it. I am hoping to get a digital (Stealth, I believe - whatever is $300 @ Cabelas)

hey double creek, my email is jwcrna@sbcglobal.net. can you give some sort of review on your camera. for example: battery on the camera, battery life on sensor, type of batteries used, do you have to narrow down the sensor with tape so animals are in center of picture unlike stealth 35mm model, how many pictures on the 16mg internal card, can you tell how many pictures are taken without dismounting the camera and wasting a picture, red beam to line camera up, etc, any review would be a benefit to others, also what was the other brand you had problems with. thanks for any help
