Default Trophy Ridge - Full Metal Jacket

Has anyone tried this sight. I saw the Bowsite video, but I can't tell wether it is tooless adjustible, or how seriously well made it is. Anyone?

I have not heard of this one. Only the Matrix.

You can check it out here:

It is all metal - Duh. And looks pretty nice. Not on their site yet.

That one does look nicer than the Matrix. I never was excited about a plastic sight. Metal is the way to go.

You can check out the sight a little more on Edersbow.com. It's called the Alpha sight. As far as I can tell it does not have toolless adjustability which is the best feature of trophy ridge sights. I have the flatliner extreme and I can't see breaking that sight short of running it over with your car. If you are extremely tough on your gear the Alpha may be the way to go, but otherwise I think the other trophy ridge sites will hold up for most people.

I don't disagree with your points HB. But on the other hand I have been adjusting sights for 20 yrs with allen keys. That isn't such a big deal, and once they are set, how they were set is of little interest to me. The old NAP sight had a neat feature where the whole thing was adjustible by a little key built into the sight. And it was rock solid. Unfortunately they stopped making it since it cost more than some people were willing to pay.

I think you are right about the Alpha. Not much adjust anywhere. Basicaly for metal and vertical pins.
