Default MightyMite 04??

I am looking for opinions on this bow. I shoot 28" draw with about a 375 grain arrow at 68lbs. My Parker UL31 shoots around 275FPS with my hunting setup. I don't want to lose any speed but I don't need to really gain, but it would be nice to gain alittle. Also my Parker never would go to 70lbs. Do the bowtechs usually crank down to the 70lbs or even higher? Any imput on this bow would be welcome. Thanx

Yes to all your ?s.
I shoot a 04 mm at 64# 28 and 420 gr. in the neighborhood of 250-260,
Just a guess though. Mine cranks down to 71#s.

Make no mistake, the MM VFT is not or never has been your average super shorty treestand bow. It is a pocket rocket! I recently tested one at 29", 61 pounds w/ stock hush kit, peep, loop and it shot a 377 grain arrow at 273 FPS (7 & 7/8" measured brace) A 28" 68 pounder would be likely be in the mid to high 280s w/ similar string stuff.

The BowTechs run about 1 to 2 pounds past peak.

I agree with Jeff. I think you are going to gain a "little" speed if you with the MM.

I had a Parker UL31 two years ago. Nice little bow...a little light in weight overall but it shot very well. Speed was pretty good back then as well...though I still think you will notice a difference with the MM. I should have some speed specs up tomorrow evening...

Mine peaks about a pound and a half over the listed peak weight.

Thanks for the info. I am really leaning towards the Bowtech over the Mathews Outback. Now its down to the Justice or the Mighty Mite. The only thing I noticed is that the MightyMite has the small idler wheel and different cam then the Justice. The only problem with the Justice is the speed is a little low. Is there a big difference with the smoothness of the MightyMite over the Justcie with the different cams? I'm glad to hear that the bows go past peak weight. I like to shot 71 or 72 lbs. I think the MightyMite is a little shorter then the Justice but I cant seem to get on the Bowtech Site 2004 bows section.

parker1, I've been shooting a MM and Justice a little to compare. Both 60#ers. The MM is noticeabley faster. With a heavier arrow the difference became less apparent, seat of the pants, so I can't say this absolutely. I think at 70#, the Justice will be as fast as your Parker, all things being equal. The Justice is easier to draw at 70# than the MM (I've pulled but not shot both in 70#). The 60# MM BC is 291 fps at 28". The Justice is 13 fps slower 278, same specs. Make both bows 70#ers, and add a few fps with your arrow. Advertised ATA is 30.5" for the MM, 31.25" for the Justice. Brace height is 7.75" MM, and 8" Justice.

I'm just wondering if PABowhntr had had time to get some speeds off the MM yet?
