Default Justice speed?

Hello,I am new to this forum but if ya wanna talk bowtech seems this is the place to be.I just bought a Justice vft a couple of weeks ago and I love it!!I know this is supposed to be the slowest of the bowtech vft line and I really went to check out the extreme vft but the smooth draw cycle of the liberty and justice won me over.I was strongly considering the liberty but my dealer who is also a friend of mine and a bowtech shooter said that the justice seemed to fit me better because it is shorter.See unfortunately I am a small framed guy 5'7" 162lbs and I knew that he was really trying to get me set up right because by steering me toward the justice he wasnt gaining anything he was actually losing money because the liberty was $100.00 more.On all my other bows I shot 29" and 28'" draw lengths and he said I actually needed a 27" draw. When we got the bow set up so I could shoot I shot one of his arrows thru the chrono twice first shot 262fps second shot 260fps.He said the arrows were 450grain gold tips.Does that seem right? After reading some of the other speed ratings on some of the other threads doesnt that seem kinda fast for the justice?I know he knows how much his own hunting arrows weigh but just wondered if his chrono could be messed up?My justice is 70lbs 27" draw with the factory hush kit 2 nocksets and peep.Either way I love my Justice and next tax return I see that extreme vft comin home with me!Thanks!! And I am hooked on BOWTECH FOR LIFE!!!!!!

Default RE: Justice speed?

That seems too fast to me for a 27" bow and 450 gr arrow. We got a 29" Justice in the shop with a BC of 287 fps.

I also think that 450 grains is a bit suspect for GT arrows. Unless they were extremely long and had a very heavy point and long vanes, I doubt they are that heavy.

It's probably a 5575 and a 350 grain arrow. That's about 53 ft/lbs and that would seem about right.

Default RE: Justice speed?

My JUstice VFT is shooting my 300 grain 35-55 GT pros at 58# with a speed of 276, that is with 6olb limbs.
I love mine but my Extreme Solo shoots the same setup at 306fps.
I love both bows and will be shooting the Justice in 3-D this year.
