Does anyone here shoot a Diamond Bow? They are made is Shreveport Louisiana. How's there quality compared to more popular brands like Hoyt, Bowtech, or Mathews? What type of string do they use and what about the quality of there limbs? Any opinions or comments? Pro's or Con's? Thanks.
I recently bought a Diamond Machete and comparing it to Mathews FX and Pse, I like the bow better than both. Have not had to use customer service but have been told by several that own Diamond and some pro shops that their CS is very good. All appearances of the bow is as good as the other top end bows and better than some. Shooting the same poundage as the Mathews this bow is faster (by my eyes, have not chrono'ed it yet. Don't believe you will be diaappointed.
Diamond makes a great bow, that is a better value then most top end bows, in my opinion. They have exptremely good limb pocket tolerances, and are quite fast and quiet.
The Machete is one of the nicest short hunting bows I've ever shot.
