Default Question?

i tied a string loop on and replaced my old rest with a bodoodle rest and every time i draw my bow my arrow will raise up off the arrow rest by as much as 2-3 inches on almost every draw. i put 2 metal nocks on, in which one is above the arrow and one is below the arrow and then tied the string loop on the outside of these.
question is,is this the best way to tie one on or do you'all have a better suggestion or a good remedy to try. thanks
