Im seeing people using different arrow weights for hunting and shooting etc. can a guy just put a heavier bh on the same arrow and consider it done for making a "hunting weight arrow"? the set up im using now is approx 380grains, using 100gr bh and field point. thanks for all.................mitch

You 'can', if the heavier broadhead doesn't mess up your arrow spine. 400 grains is about the minimum of what I'd call a hunting weight arrow. My opinion, of course.
I've always used the same arrows for 3-D and hunting,in the 410-428gr weight.This year I'm looking to change out the Bemans to Easton ACC's or the new Axis,so my weights are going to change..Bob
