Default Bitzenberger Fletcher

Over the weekend I bought a Bitz fletcher at the Eastern Sport Show. First of all I took most of the participants advice and am very happy with the product. I picked up a couple of packs of Bohning plastic fletches and I am starting to fletch my first arrow and it is going quite smoothly for a first time. What I need to know is what is the best plastic fletches and adhesive for carbons?

Bohning vanes, Bohning Bond-Tite, and a clean carbon will work great. The other super glue like glues will leave a white residue, but hold well.

I haven't found any vanes to be as durable as Flex-Fletch vanes with their Flex-Bond glue.

Won't use anything else....

Check with some local archery shops- you might be in luck because some shops carry a decent selection.

If not, I order items my shop doesn't carry from www.fsdiscountarchery.com

Hey Moonge or Black Frog,
Since I am new to fletching my own arrows, I would like to know if I want to go to right or left helical, do I need to just buy the vane clamp or do I have to get the base and clamp?

polack -
Either will work fine. One will loosen your arrow head the other tighten on impact. Some say go oppisite of whatever hand you shoot with. I think more probably shoot right but I'm guessing with that.
