I am narrowing down my search for a new bow thanks to all your help. One more question, Are the 2001 and the 2002 Hoyt ultratec bows the same or has there been any improvement in the 2002. Thanks

RE: hoyt ultra tec
The 2002 Ultratecs have a 3 inch longer riser to compensate for the 3 inch shorter 2002 XT2000 limbs. Some folks feel that this is a superior design.

RE: hoyt ultra tec
The idler wheel is different on the 2002's as well. The track is supposed to be wider for less cable wear.
