I wonder how well the inertia drop version works...

...now I have.

Considering HHA's track record I would assume these to be very well made rests though they look alot like the NAP models with that brass (?) cylinder.

I would like to give the inertia model a try to see how it compares to the Trapdoor.

Looks like a mix of the trophy taker and the NAP 4000 to me, It might be a half decent rest with a mix of those two.[:-]

Thats the new Trophy BodoodleNAP from HHA

I'm sure it's a great rest as HHA makes great stuff (use thier sights) but it looks like a bastardization of all three!

I asked for more information, and asked some specific questions about operation. Here is what I got:

"The rest goes off when the bow does. It is up when the arrow is drawn and drops away and stays down after the shot. Hope this helps and thanks for the inquiry."

I had hoped for more, but am happy that they responded, and did so quickly.

I had hoped for more specific info on the internal workings of the intertia drop version. Now I'm left wondering if it is similar to the MBG trap door that receives mixed reviews...

Guess I'll have to wait until one of you guys break down and try it.

Rack? Where ya at, Rack?

Range,
It's no wonder Rack has some pretty messed up shoe laces in his sig photo with you always pressuring him to try all these new things. Poor man must spend so much money testing all these things that he can't even afford new shoe laces...

On second look at the rest there is one part that bothers me. I don't think I care for how the cord attaches to the launcher. Looks like it might be a weak link, Not sure until I look at one in person but overall like I said before It looks like a good mix of some of the best drop-aways on the market today. What do you guys think of that attachment point?
