Default ATA Show 2004...

Since I've finally got caught up on my work since the show (yeah right) I thought I'd post a quicky...

As always, I enjoyed seeing the folks whom I've met in the past (you all know who you are and there's waaay to many to mention them all)... And of course it was nice meeting all the new people from the boards that I'd just met for the first time.

I wished I had more time to spend BSing with ya and I hope me getting pulled away didn't offend anyone too much, if so, too bad, get over it...

I know I got pulled away from KBacon, Orions Bow and 5 Shot as well as others I'm sure... Maybe next year we can all get together after the show when the madness dies down a little and have some dinner and fun...

I spent quite a few hours and not a lot of money at the Gameworks Arcade...Lot's O fun...

Regards, Pat

Yeah..we had a blast in the Arcade (I'm a video game geek)

Matt & I are unstoppable (well as long as we have enough quarters) at House of the Dead II. Pistols, Shotguns, no matter.... we kicked A$$. [>:]

Don't you just love those little game ATM cards and how fast they go... you know.. cuz it's not real $$$

Was nice meeting you guys also... I didn't even notice you got pulled away, [>:]

The booth was soo busy.. I'm glad I got to shoot all the different bows... I still don't understand the reasoning behind shutting the booths down an hour early... I think that might have been a bit excessive... I was extremely impressed w/ the bows and people in the bowtech booth.

And NO my name is not Kevin and I don't sing Footloose!!!

I wasn't there but I'll bet that they wanted to shut the shooting booth down so the bows had a chance to cool off before putting them away You know,,,,,, fire safety and all[&:]

Ken,

I don't understand either why they stopped the shooting at 5PM every night. Wierd. Glad ya got to shoot the bows in time! We were trying real hard to make sure folks got in line, because it could be a bit of a wait if they didn't get their rears in gear. Even when it would get "slow" there were still 10-15 people hanging around shooting and/or watching people shoot! You saw it..It was insane![]

Those "ATM" cards were a pain, but I guess they are better than tokens or quarters! We would "die" and we had the 9 second countdown to put the card in before the game was over and at first we couldn't get it working quick enough. After a few screwups me an Matt had that whole thing down pat! Saturday night was best because it was unlimited play for 10 bucks or whatever.

It was funny..most of us were playing all the shooting games the whole time (except some of the guys were playing racing games) and Matt came up with the new Unofficial BowTech Slogan:

"BowTech, just shootin' the HE#$ out of S&*T"

Jeff,
Somehow I don't think that slogan is going to dethrone "Taking the Arch out of Archery" anytime soon.

Yeah there was nothing like cranking on bows non-stop for 9 hrs each day and then shooting 25,000 bad guys at night! Fun stuff though. Thank God they didn't have an archery game.

Almost as fun as the 2 young ladies we saw near the one racing game.........[][8D]
