Default Got my hands on a Liberty Tonight!!!

Well I was at my local shop tonight and they got in their first Bowtech since picking up the brand this year. I was the first to get my hands on them. Simply amazing. They got in an Extreme VFT, Liberty, and a Justice. They are all great looking bows, unfortunately I didn't get to shoot them but I did draw them all and they felt amazing. But just as everyone has said the Liberty just blew me away, It felt like it was just made for me. If I had $600 dollars in my pocket tonight that baby was going to be coming home with me, and my wife was going to have to find another place to sleep tonight.
The Birth certificate Speeds read something like this If I remember correctly:
Liberty-297
Justice-295
Extreme VFT- 307

The extremeVFT was nice but just not my cup of tea with the small brace height.
But the Justice was very nice also, felt very good drawing back, but i'm just a little leary of the short ATA. But the Liberty fits all my requirements, Longer ATA and High Brace Height. I wonder If I can talk my wife into letting me get one. Oh no not "Let Me Get One", I NEED ONE!!!

The Liberty is pretty amazing. People aren't kidding when they say "leave your checkbook at home or the Liberty is comming back with you".

The EX VFT has a shorter bh than I personally like, but I have shot my best friends and I can tell you that I havn't had any problems with that short bh. In late archery when you are wearing lots of clothes, all you would have to do is where a arm guard and it wouldn't pose a problem.

P.S. The Liberty is fast, especially for how ultra smooth drawing it is.

Its only a matter of time till you own it I didn't plan on getting a new bow this year, but how could I possibly resist the Liberty?

I've got to stop coming to this forum, you guys are a bad influence on me. You are driving me nuts with all this new bow talk. My current bow is 5 years old and too me it feels ancient. I still like it and I shoot it well, but I just like new "toys". Who knows My b-day is in april and maybe I can talk my wife into buying me one for then. By the way "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission!!!! " is my motto most times when it comes to dealing with my wife.

See Chad, what did I tell ya. These guys here are worse then your old drinkin buddies at the bar trying to talk you into going to the strip joint. "C'mon Chad ol buddy, we'll have ya home before your ol lady finds out!"

I'm kinda at a lull with my new toy. I like it, but am finding that maybe I like longer ATA bows better. I just might take a trip up to Warriors Mark tomorrow night and see what all the ruckus is about.

Muzzyman I know how you feel ,you just can;t resist it can ya????

hahaha I'm not sure if asking for forgiveness is all that easy when your sleeping in the dog's house haha. Believe me I know all about it ,last year I came home with a brand new $2000.00 surround system and I had already spoke to her about buying one she didn't seem to mind and it was about 2 week's before she spoke to me .The problem I don't understand is that It was my money that paid for it .They never had to do without I was alway's there when they needed me .Go Figure.

Number one rule of being a bowbuyingaholic is never....never tell the wife you got a new bow. If she finds out about it at a later date then just casually comment..."Oh honey, you remember, we talked about that right before.....".

Ofcourse, it works better if you buy bows more often than once every 5 years....

That Liberty sure is something though. I am extremely pleased with mine....no nitpicks at the moment except for maybe the paint and the cable guard slide....
