Default What arrows for 70# dually?

I know this is all personal prefference. But what arrows are you guys using for a 70# duallys? My arrows will be about 28" or so. I currently have some 5575 Goldtips from my '02 Patriot.. are these stiff enough or do I need to get something stiffer? I did notice a few of them are cracked a little bit ago.. so I'm looking for something new.

What are the rest of you using and how have they worked for you?

Kevin.......er I mean Ken.
Those 5575's might be stiff enough if you shoot without a point.[:-] But then we might be running into some weight issues.[8D]

(Speaking of 5575's........at the show I saw a stripped down 300gr 5575 with no point flung out of Kevin's "Prototype" just for giggles. At that 29 1/4" and 69# I think it was pushing 390fps.[:-])

Take that Gold Tip chart and spool it onto your toilet paper dispenser when it comes to the Pat Dually. 7595's for that bow, no less.
CE Terminator HUnter Selects at 6075, A/C/C's 3-71's etc etc. i'd try those Axis arrows as well........Jeff could recommend the proper spine.
Remember that bow is NOT behaving like any other 70# on the market. It's a powerhouse that requires a little extra common sense when choosing the proper arrow spine. Err on the heavy side and you will have more options.

I'm not sure I'd shoot a 28" 5575 out of a Pat Dually at 60# .....GT's chart has always seemed "soft" to me. If you are even CLOSE to the higher spined shaft, pick that one. In your case though it's a no brainer. 7595's for sure.

Thought you were gonna break into the Footloose theme there for a second...

OK.. that's what I was wanting to know... I do plan on using the Axis shafts for hunting... thank you Bowhun America... But right now I'm looking for Arrows for the upcoming 3D season... to get around the 350gr mark.

390fps [8D][>:] WOW!!!

Ken,
If you want to shoot 3D with that bow at 350grs.........you sure as heck don't need 70#!
I shot my Pat Dually at 63# for some Hunter class IBO and also my Pro40 Dually at 62# and I can personally recommend the CE CXL350 Selects.
They are surprisingly tough........I HAMMER mine and still have the original dozen alive and kicking.

I think mine are 28.5" shaft, 4" feathers, insert, 75gr head, Unibushing and G-Nock= 353grs.

Fly terrific with a decent helical and was still getting PLENTY of speed. Those fat suckers snag me a few points every single round.

Matt.. that's the exact shaft that I was looking at. I was supposed to pick up a dozen from a guy at the ATA show for a good price.. but we missed each other. I will definately be using the unibushings to keep the splitting to a min... Now I just gotta find the shafts for a good price.

How fast were you spitting those out at?
