Default A "Classic" disappointment!!!

Why? Because of the hype! I talked to our local dealer last night at archery league and discussed the Classic with him. I bought my MQ1 from him last year and he knows how much I love it. He told me last night that he had talked to his Mathews rep last week and they said that this bow will appeal to, and I quote, "the MQ1 cult following". He says "I bet I put an order in for you next week." HA!!! What a disappointment!!!!!!!! A Feathermax!! Why would they ignore that MQ1 is arguably the most popular they have ever produced and for a reason!! Does Mathews pay no attention to what people are saying? Sorry for the rant but I feel Mathews misled people about this bow (especially with what they told my dealer). It's like setting up a $1,000,000 fireworks display and watching a firecracker go off.

If you could determine how a bow feels and shoots, based on how it looks, we wouldn't have to test shoot bows. Just order based on specs. Wouldn't matter what manufacturer made it. If they had the same specs, they'd shoot identical, right?

Actually, it could shoot very similar or better then the MQ1, but when you make up your mind from a picture, you're not giving the bow much of a chance.

Hence the name. If it were anything similar to the MQ1, "Classic" would not be very apprpriate. I am not interested in the bow, but the name certainly matches the apearance.
